    College and Career Success at East St. Louis Sr. High School

    The Class of 2020 has currently earned $11,179,800 in scholarship totals. Of this class, 100% applied to at least five colleges, military or trade schools and 97.45% were accepted to a four-year or two-year college, military or trade school. Eastside celebrated 9 students who earned both a high school diploma and associate’s degree from Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) through the Running Start program. An additional 20 seniors completed a math transitions course (Intermediate Algebra) designed to ensure they will not have to take a remedial math course in college.

    In 2019, 100% of 12th grade students applied to at least five colleges, military or trade schools; 100% of class of 2019 was accepted to a four-year or two-year college, military or trade school. The Class of 2019 earned over $12 million in scholarship totals.
